Thursday, June 23, 2005 Rowie loves Jay @ 3:30 PM.
Oh my gosh.... I have decided to blog this because of Jay and Edison.... I have to type this out in detail so that I can recall it the next time that I view this back again...
I went to the Initial D Red Carpet Gala...... So the day started off with me meeting Di'er at 2pm at Tampines MRT Station.. Then we decided to munch first... So off to Taka we went... I grabbed Hongkong Dim Sum.. *anyway.. i've just been there so what the heck!!!* Di'er grabbed a real delicious Jap ice-cream..... And it was HEAVENLY.... Hee... :P Then we kinda just sat down and took our time.. So by about 430 were we starting to get out of Taka... Real slow ah!!!! Come to think of it... I wonder what we were doing.... So I decided to check out Shaw House to see if there was a huge crowd already... There were some ppl.. But it was not that packed yet..so i thought I go Far East and shop for a while and be back there ard 530pm... Oh before that... I checked out how the whole red carpet looked like.. and i even took a pic of the movie poster with my PANASONIC hp *incidentally, jay is endorsing Panasonic*. Then we came back ard 530pm.. and it was so PACKED....... oh my gosh.. we chose a spot in front of the 'interview stage' But realised that we were going to be blocked by reporters and photographers... So we shifted through the pack..... Oh man how squashed we were... Then finally we found a spot.. It was a bit to the side.. so we could not see the front of the stage. We could only see the side of the stage.... I was a bit upset.. But it turned out to be one of the best spots I could ever have gotten! At first, Di'er and I could not squeeze into the front... We were behind 2 gals.. Then slowly a small space opened up and i tried to inch my way in front... Di'er thought I was crazy to stand there for 1.5 hours just to wait for Jay... Hee.. But i thought it was all worth it... and it REALLY WAS!!! Later the show began at about 7pm... But non-important ppl showed up.. But Shan, the guy from Eye for A Guy 2, came.. and boy is he CUTE... Then the first celebrity to show up was EDISON... Oh my gosh he is so SUPER DUPER CUTE.. I have never seen him in real person.. But he is really cute!!!!!! At that time, I did not bring anything for them to sign.. AND i totally regretted it.. cos i bought the INITIAL D PICTORIAL... and Edison signed for practically everyone!!! *slaps myself hard* But i managed to take a few blurry shots of him on my hp and i shooked his hand... He did look at me, as in into my eyes.. Oh my gosh... EDISON IS SUPER CUTE... and his complexion is so so so super smooth........ Then came Kenny Bee followed by Shawn Yue.. i am not a big fan of shawn....but he is quite cute lah.... Then came Anthony Wong and lastly.... JAY... Oh my gosh.. Jay got the most screams.. and the fans were chanting "Jie Lun" even before he came.... The atmosphere was awesome... But there were a lot of pushing though... Then Jay finally came to my part and he stopped to sign for a gal beside me.... OH MY GOSH.. JAY was STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is so super duper cool.. I gave him Di'er's organizer to sign.. But he only signed the gal's one.... But he did look at me and shook my hand and he nodded to initiate his thanks.. Oh my gosh.. STRUCK BY TWO CUTIES.... my eyes are twinkling... THe only regret i have is not bringing my INITIAL D book for them to sign.... ARGH......
Oh man.. i bet the show is going to be awesome.. I am going to buy the DVD and the soundtrack with Jay's 2 songs.... haha.. am i crazy or what??? But i am sure that there are crazier ppl out there!!! I am quite mild already... haha........ *so that is what I think*....
Ok.. that is my recollection of the Initial D red carpet GALA.... But after that my legs were really aching man... Ask DIER..... We were both tired man.....
